The 5th year of the Beat the Clock and Help Beat Cancer program is in full swing. The turnout for this year's events has been incredible, so it's best to resister early. Due to activities scheduled on Cañada Road, the event closes registration at 100 people. Best to ride your bike there if possible, since parking is limited. Please obey the rules of the road, stop at the stop signs and look before crossing the road to get to registration. Registration is located on the west side of Cañada Road, past Jefferson. And now for a very important reminder – Please be ON TIME for your scheduled start time. If you miss your start, your final time will be based on your SCHEDULED start time, not your ACTUAL start time. So the world will think you are slower than you really are, and who wants that? We need to enforce this policy for the simple reason that it creates too much chaos and havoc for our volunteers to ask them to make adjustments to their mathematically precise data; plus in the real world of bicycle racing, no exceptions are made. Thank you for your understanding. Everyone at BTC thanks you for your involvement and support. Any questions please call Patt @ 650-851-7621. |
